They Played for Their Lives: Film Screening and Special Guest

On Saturday January 26, 2019 at 3 pm Southmont High School will be hosting a screening of the one-hour documentary, They Played For Their Lives. The film was made by Dr. Nurit Jugend. Dr. Jugend is a composer, music lecturer, and private tutor currently residing in California. She gives music appreciation classes, seminars, and teaches regularly at the Continuing Education Program at Stanford University.

Friday, December 14 - Ugly (or pretty) Christmas Sweater/Hat Day!  Don’t miss out on this fun day.  We are collecting $1 per child to go toward supporting New Market community needs.  Everyone is encouraged to wear a Christmas Sweater and/or hat on Friday as well as donate $1 toward our fund which goes to families in need in our community.  Should be lots of fun!

Parent-Teacher Conferences 2018

Parents and students are reminded that parent-teacher conferences are scheduled for Friday, September 28th.  Please be sure to contact your child's school for more information or to schedule a conference.
